The visual approach to a project is as important as the copy and copy written without vision never completely fulfils the dream. That's why, on occasion, I supply verbal or graphic concepts to expand on the intentions of the copywriting, providing a fast start for art directors (who may freely take them ahead or provide their own magic, where preferred) or create a complete package for smaller projects or direct clients.

Since 1960 I have been associated with a diverse range of advertising and marketing disciplines far broader than the copywriting skills at the core of my freelance services, under the name Colin Alcock.
Over the years, my creative, media and administrative roles have encompassed projects for both internationally acclaimed consumer brands and a plethora of business projects - some global, some national, some localised by region or market.
